Privacy policy

Who we are

TrueTail is operated by Wynfall Studios, LLC, a company registered in Georgia, USA. This policy covers the TrueTail app only.

What we collect

• Account info - your email, display name, and a bcrypt-hashed password. We never store your plain-text password.
• The slips you log - bet legs, odds, stakes in units, results, and any notes you add, plus the capper report cards you tag.
• Your member settings - bankroll and unit-size preferences, exposure caps, and, if you choose to set one, your own personal Discord webhook URL for notifications.
• Waitlist emails - if you join the public waitlist before getting an invite, we store the email you gave us.
• A session cookie - so you stay logged in between visits.
• An audit log - a record of account actions (logins, admin actions) kept for security and abuse investigation.
• Feedback you submit - anything you send through the in-app Feedback form.

What we don't do

No ads. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. No third-party analytics or tracking scripts run on TrueTail - every script served to your browser is our own code, self-hosted.

Discord notifications

If you set your own webhook URL in Settings, TrueTail sends your own slip/grading notifications to that webhook. We never broadcast your activity to anyone else's webhook, and a webhook you haven't configured never fires.

Where your data lives

Your data lives on servers we control, with nightly backups. We do not host your data with a third-party analytics or ad platform.

Cookies

TrueTail sets one cookie: a session cookie required to keep you logged in. We don't use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] to have your account and data deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the update here with a new effective date.
